Bartłomiej Poczobut, a 32-year-old Polish defensive midfielder, has completed a transfer to Pogoń Siedlce after leaving Polonia Warsaw by mutual agreement. After being a key player for the Warsaw club in the previous season, his form declined in recent months, which resulted in him being placed on the transfer list. In the current Betclic 1 Liga season, he made 18 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist for Polonia Warsaw, which he had joined on 13/07/2024. Pogoń Siedlce, a league rival, was very determined to sign him. The authorities at Polonia agreed to an early termination of his contract as they did not want to obstruct the move, allowing the transfer to proceed on a free basis. Poczobut, who is the first signing for his new club ahead of the spring campaign, signed a contract valid until the end of the current season with an option to extend. His market value is currently €125k, according to Transfermarkt.
