Bafode Dansoko Transfer from Winterthur to Lugano

According to exclusive sources from Africafoot, FC Lugano is closely monitoring Winterthur's Guinean striker Bafodé Dansoko and faces competition from another Swiss club, Grasshopper Club Zurich. Lugano officials have reportedly placed the 29-year-old on their priority reinforcement list for this winter and have already inquired about his contractual situation. In a recent meeting, the club from Ticino is said to have affirmed its strong interest and appreciation for his energy and impact. Grasshoppers have also identified Dansoko as a credible option to strengthen their attack. While no official meeting has occurred, preliminary exchanges have taken place in which the Zurich club expressed its keen interest. His contract runs until June 2026, and the lack of a currently planned extension could facilitate a transfer. The player's market value is estimated at 500,000 euros, but Winterthur is reportedly demanding approximately 700,000 euros. It is expected that discussions regarding the player's future will accelerate in the coming days. Dansoko holds French nationality, joined Winterthur in September 2025, and has earned 4 caps for Guinea. This season in the Super League, he has recorded 1 goal and 1 assist in 8 appearances.
