Aberdeen are expected to complete a deal for 23-year-old Moroccan international Ayoub Mouloua after agreeing a six-figure fee with FUS Rabat. The agreement is reported to be close, with Aberdeen now needing to arrange a work permit and GBE for the striker. Aberdeen previously signed Hicham Zerouali from the same club in 1999. Sporting director Lutz Pfannenstiel and head of recruitment Darren Mowbray identified Mouloua following extensive work and scouting. The forward, who has two caps but no goals for Morocco, scored six goals and provided one assist in 21 games in the most recent season, after scoring 12 goals in 28 matches the previous campaign. Mouloua joined FUS Rabat in August 2024 and has a current market value of €750k, according to Transfermarkt.
