KAA Gent was interested in signing 27-year-old French forward Aurélien Scheidler, but the club has decided to focus on other attacking positions despite the player's desire to join. The transfer will not proceed. Scheidler has since joined FCV Dender EH, where his contract runs until June 30, 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.80m.
