Augustin Drakpe, a 24-year-old defender who was a key player for FC Dordrecht under coach Dirk Kuijt, completed a transfer to the Czech club Slovan Liberec on New Year's Eve. Drakpe had joined Dordrecht in January of that year from the amateur club Spakenburg, and he quickly became an important player and appeared in all 21 league games in the first half of the season. The deal with Slovan Liberec is fully completed, and the defender has signed a contract until the summer of 2029. Speaking to the club channel, Drakpe said that after he heard about a potential transfer, he researched the team and saw it as an ambitious club with an attractive style of play.
