Belgian midfielder Aster Vranckx, 22, is close to a transfer to Sassuolo, a Serie A club. The clubs are reportedly almost in agreement for a loan with a purchase option. Vranckx, who previously played on loan at AC Milan, aims to relaunch his career under the guidance of coach Fabio Grosso. He will join former Jupiler Pro League players Kristian Thorstvedt and Alieu Fadera at Sassuolo. His contract at VfL Wolfsburg runs until June 30, 2029, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €7.00m.
