Aster Vranckx Transfer from VfL Wolfsburg to Sassuolo
Aster Vranckx leaves VfL Wolfsburg to join US Sassuolo in Italy on a loan basis. The deal includes a loan fee of one million euros and a purchase option for nine million euros for Sassuolo. Vranckx hopes to gain regular playing time at Sassuolo, having only played 15 times for Wolfsburg last season. He is contractually bound to Wolfsburg until 2029.
Aster Vranckx will arrive at Sassuolo tomorrow. He previously played for Milan in the 2022/2023 season but only made 9 appearances in Serie A and one in Coppa Italia. According to Sky Sport, he will transfer to Sassuolo from Wolfsburg on a paid loan with an option to buy. Giovanni Carnevali, the CEO of Sassuolo, confirmed the interest and mentioned that evaluations are being made for midfield positions, including Vranckx and Nemanja Matic.
Belgian midfielder Aster Vranckx, 22, is close to a transfer to Sassuolo, a Serie A club. The clubs are reportedly almost in agreement for a loan with a purchase option. Vranckx, who previously played on loan at AC Milan, aims to relaunch his career under the guidance of coach Fabio Grosso. His contract at VfL Wolfsburg runs until June 30, 2029, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €7.00m.
