Asier Córdoba has joined Miedź Legnica on a permanent transfer, signing a two-year contract with an option to extend for an additional twelve months. He received offers from many other teams, including those from the Spanish second division and abroad, but ultimately chose to move to Miedź Legnica. The player was personally persuaded by coach Wojciech Łobodziński and sporting director Marek Ubych, who met with him and his agents several times in Bilbao.

Miedź Legnica is finalizing the transfer of the Spanish winger Asier Córdoba. According to Kamil Warzocha from Weszlo.com, Córdoba may soon sign a contract with the Polish club.
