Asger Sörensen has transferred from Sparta Praha to FC København. Media report that Sparta Praha is expected to receive slightly more than one million euros (over 24 million Czech crowns) plus potential bonuses of approximately half a million euros (12 million Czech crowns) for Sörensen.

According to Danish sources, Asger Sörensen is leaving Sparta Praha for FC Kodaň. The newspapers Tipsbladet and Bold reported that a three-year contract is prepared for Sörensen in Kodaň. Sparta rejected initial offers during the summer because they did not want to release Sörensen before matches with Lyon in the Champions League qualifiers. According to information from Sörensen's surroundings, he is building a house in Kodaň, which makes a return home suitable for him.

FC København has had a bid for Asger Sørensen rejected by Sparta Prag. According to iSport, negotiations between Sparta Prag and FC København are ongoing. Tipsbladet reported that the clubs were discussing a price of around 7.5 million kroner, while the transfer was getting closer as all parties were keen.
