According to Bold, Lyngby Boldklub has sold Asbjørn Bøndergaard to FC Fredericia for double the amount the club paid for the striker in January. Bold reports that FC Fredericia pays one million euro – approximately 7.5 million kroner – for the 22-year-old striker. This is double the 500,000 euro Lyngby paid for Bøndergaard. He returns to FC Fredericia on a permanent contract valid for the next five years and becomes the club's most expensive signing ever.

According to information from Bold, FC Fredericia is close to signing Asbjørn Bøndergaard from Lyngby. Bøndergaard is a 22-year-old Danish forward who is set to depart the newly promoted Superliga club, where he has not been in the starting lineup for the last three matches. He joined the club eight months ago from Silkeborg for a club-record fee of 500,000 euros. According to Bold, the deal is almost complete, and a medical examination is expected to take place later in the afternoon. Bøndergaard previously spent the 2024/25 season on loan at FC Fredericia, scoring 17 goals in 25 games during their historic promotion to the Superliga. His contract with Lyngby is set to expire on 31/12/2030, and he has a current Transfermarkt market value of €900k. Bøndergaard has one cap for the Denmark U20 team.
