Marseille's 20-year-old Belgian midfielder Arthur Vermeeren has been warned against joining either Chelsea or Manchester United, with the advice that a move to one of the Premier League giants would ruin his career. Vermeeren is on loan at the Ligue 1 club from RB Leipzig, a move he made towards the end of the summer transfer window after failing to make a mark with the German team. His contract with parent club RB Leipzig runs until 2029, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €22 million.
