Fiorentina is reported to have submitted an official offer of €13,000,000 to Palmeiras for 20-year-old Brazilian left-back Arthur Gabriel. Despite the bid, Palmeiras is not currently willing to negotiate a sale. Clubs from England and Greece have also expressed interest in the player. Fiorentina is said to have progressed further in their pursuit than other clubs. These other clubs include Olympiacos, who have already had a bid turned down but are reportedly prepared to make a new offer. Arthur Gabriel joined Palmeiras in January 2026 and has a contract until the end of 2029. In the 2025/2026 season, he made 16 appearances in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €3.00m.
