Hungarian international defensive midfielder Áron Csongvai is nearing a move to AS Saint-Étienne. The French club and the 25-year-old's current team, Swedish club AIK, are reportedly close to an agreement for his transfer. The move could be completed in the upcoming days. Csongvai, a two-cap Hungarian international, has played in all 12 of his club's league matches this season, where he contributed one goal and one assist. He joined AIK in February 2025 and his contract with the club runs until the end of 2027. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €1.70m.
