Arouca announced on Wednesday afternoon that they have loaned Spanish defender Arnau Solà to Atlético de Madrid. The 23-year-old is a product of Barcelona's academy and is expected to join Atlético's B team, which will compete in the third tier of Spanish football. Solà has experience in this division, having spent the latter part of the previous season on loan at Ibiza. The player joined Arouca from Almería approximately a year ago, and this marks his second consecutive loan move. Solà has been capped twice for Spain's U19 team and has a contract with Arouca until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €300k.
