Archie Mair has completed a permanent transfer to National League side Carlisle United after leaving the recently relegated Morecambe. The transfer follows a loan spell the goalkeeper had with the Cumbrian club during the second half of the 25/26 season, a campaign in which Carlisle lost in the play-offs and were not promoted. Mair's single appearance during his loan came in the final game of the regular season against Brackley Town, where he kept a clean sheet.
