According to Il Resto del Carlino, Modena is considering 27-year-old Italian centre-forward Antonio Di Nardo, who is set to leave Pescara, as an alternative option for their attack. The club's main target is Gabriele Artistico, but that transfer is on hold because Lazio's Gennaro Gattuso wants to evaluate the player during the summer retreat. If the move for Artistico does not happen, the club has identified Di Nardo as the backup plan. Di Nardo joined Pescara in August 2025 and is under contract until June 2027.
