Venezia announced that 26-year-old Spanish centre-forward Antonio Casas has moved to Real Sporting de Gijón on a temporary deal with an option to buy and an obligation to acquire the player permanently under certain conditions. Casas joined Venezia in July 2025 and his contract with Venezia runs until 2028. The player, who has one cap for Spain's U19 team, has a current market value of €650k, according to Transfermarkt, and had also been linked with Catanzaro and Las Palmas.
