Several Swedish newspapers have reported that Anton Salétros, who plays alongside Áron Csongvai at AIK and is of Hungarian descent, will play his last match for the team this weekend when the Swedish championship concludes, before transferring to Chicago Fire in the winter. According to Expressen, the MLS team will pay 30 million Swedish kronor, approximately 2.7 million euros, for the 30-year-old Swedish international midfielder. Salétros joined AIK in July 2023 and his current contract runs until the end of 2028. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2.50m.
