Reports suggest that the management and coaching staff of Swiss club Sion are unhappy with Miranchuk's performance. Head coach Didier Tholot had previously remarked that the player's actions did not meet his expectations. Despite the criticism, Kuzmichev maintains that a return to Russia during this transfer window is unlikely. Miranchuk joined Sion as a free agent in the autumn of 2024, after his stint with Lokomotiv Moscow.
