An agreement has been reached between Göztepe and Al Jazira for the transfer of Anthony Dennis, a 22-year-old Nigerian defensive midfielder, for a fee of €5m. The deal was realized by Mitch Bakkovens. Dennis joined Göztepe in July 2023 with a contract until 2027. His current market value is €8.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Several clubs, including Southampton, Leeds United, and TSG Hoffenheim, had recently been linked with the player. Recent reports in August 2026 suggested Göztepe's asking price was approximately €8 million to €10 million.
