Angeliño leaving Roma?
Tuttomercato reports on Sunderland's interest in acquiring Angelino, alongside Al-Nassr. In addition to Al-Nassr, Sunderland has shown interest in acquiring Angelino. Negotiations are ongoing to reach a conclusion soon.
Tuttomercato reports on Angeliño's anticipated departure from Roma following a collapsed transfer to Al-Hilal. Angeliño is expected to leave Roma after a failed deal with Al-Hilal. The move is part of Roma's strategy to comply with UEFA's Financial Fair Play regulations without selling 'Ndicka, who was initially considered for sale to balance the accounts by June 30. De Cuyper from Brugge is set to replace Angeliño, and an agreement is already in place with him.
The transfer of Angeliño to Saudi Arabia fell through despite an agreement for a transfer fee of 23 million EUR plus 2 million EUR in bonuses. Angeliño had accepted a salary of 10 million EUR per season. However, the transfer was blocked by Simone Inzaghi's team before the Club World Cup as they opted for Theo Hernandez instead. Angeliño remains on the list of players available for transfer, but similar offers are unlikely.
Angelino, despite being a regular player, is considering asking for a transfer to a club where he can play in his preferred position.
