Jagiellonia Białystok arranged a loan for Andy Pelmard from French club Clermont Foot 63 in the final hours of the summer transfer window after a deal for Miłosz Matysik was not completed. The temporary transfer, which runs until the end of the current season, includes a purchase option set at 1.5 million euros, which would be a record purchase for the club. While the chances of the transfer being made permanent are small, the scenario is not impossible, and winning the Polish championship could help the club finalize the record signing. Ethan Daudel, a journalist from M6 television, stated in an interview with 'WP SportoweFakty' that Clermont is unlikely to lower the agreed price and will want to sell Pelmard for a good sum, adding that there will probably be more clubs interested in him than in the previous season. According to reports from foreign media, Pelmard earned over 30,000 euros per month in France, in addition to bonuses.
