Shakhtar is interested in Andrusw Araujo, a Venezuelan midfielder from Kryvbas. It is reported that the Donetsk club is considering the 22-year-old, although a formal transfer offer has not yet been made. This follows a prior transfer between the clubs where another Venezuelan player, winger Gleyker Mendoza, moved to Shakhtar from Kryvbas. Araujo has one cap for Venezuela. He joined Kryvbas in August 2025, and his contract is valid until June 2030. During the 2025/2026 Premier Liga season, he made 26 appearances and provided 3 assists. Dynamo Kyiv and Polessya have also been linked with the midfielder. It was reported that Kryvbas acquired him for €250,000 in August 2025. Reports in April 2026 suggested an asking price of at least €1.5-2 million. Additionally, a potential transfer to Polissya Zhytomyr in May 2026 reportedly failed due to a release clause demand of approximately €3 million. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €1.20m.
