Ukrainian winger Andrey Matkevich has left Dynamo Kyiv and joined Obolon after successful negotiations between the clubs. The 21-year-old footballer has moved on a one-season loan which includes a purchase option. The transfer happened after Matkevich was not included by Dynamo's head coach Igor Kostyuk in the list of players for a training camp, which led Matkevich to find other options for his career. He has arrived at Obolon's training camp to work with coach Oleksandr Antonenko. Matkevich has played in a friendly match against Chernihiv, providing a goal and an assist in a 3-2 victory. Last season, the winger was on loan at Zorya Luhansk and Epitsentr. His contract with Dynamo Kyiv expires in June 2027. He has made 6 appearances for the Ukraine U21 team, scoring one goal. Transfermarkt rates his market value at €200k.
