Oxford is interested in signing 25-year-old Faroe Islands defender Andrias Edmundsson. Edmundsson may leave Hellas Verona just six months after his arrival, following the club's relegation to Serie B. The English club reportedly plans to make a proposal to sign him on a permanent deal from next summer, having already attempted to acquire him in January. The centre-back has 21 caps for the Faroe Islands. His contract at Verona runs until June 2029. In January 2026, a reported offer of €2 million from Oxford United was rejected. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €2.5 million.
