Andrey Santos Transfer from Chelsea to West Ham United

West Ham offered 52 million euros for Andrey Santos at the beginning of August, but Chelsea rejected the offer. The refusal was at the request of head coach Enzo Maresca, who believes in the player's potential. Reported by British media.

Chelsea are primed to sell Andrey Santos, who was dubbed 'the best player in the world' last season while on loan at Strasbourg. West Ham is hot on the trail of the Brazilian, and Chelsea has already rejected a €53 million bid from them. The player has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €50m, and could join West Ham for close to €60m.

West Ham United attempted to acquire Chelsea's 21-year-old Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos with a £42 million bid. Despite this, Chelsea turned down the offer, viewing Santos as a key figure for their future plans and having no intention of selling him. Reports suggest that club officials have advised West Ham to cease their pursuit. The Hammers, who are looking to fill the position of a dynamic box-to-box midfielder due to the anticipated departure of Edson Alvarez, identified Santos as a perfect fit. Although Santos had a remarkable season on loan at Strasbourg, contributing to 17 goals and competing in the Club World Cup, Chelsea is steadfast in their refusal to consider any bids, perceiving West Ham's continued interest as impractical. Santos, under contract with Chelsea until 2030, is valued by Transfermarkt at €35 million (around £29.5 million) and has also attracted interest from Juventus and Aston Villa.
