Andrey Santos Transfer from Chelsea to Juventus
Tuttomercato reports on Juventus' contingency plan to sign Andrey Santos from Chelsea. Juventus has a backup plan to acquire Andrey Santos from Chelsea if the deal for Matt O'Riley does not materialize. This option is considered more economically feasible for Juventus.
Andrey Santos, a 21-year-old Brazilian midfielder currently with Chelsea, has been proposed to join Juventus. As an extracomunitario, he fits into Juventus' roster since they have an available non-EU slot. This offer aligns with Juventus' ongoing efforts to bolster their midfield under coach Igor Tudor, who is also considering other players such as Matt O'Riley and Franck Kessie. Santos was suggested to Juventus alongside Amadou Haidara from Leipzig, demonstrating the club's strategy to evaluate various options for enhancing their midfield. Santos is contracted with Chelsea until June 2030 and has also attracted interest from Aston Villa. Transfermarkt lists his market value at €35 million.
