Following earlier reports that Zenit's 28-year-old Russian winger Andrey Mostovoy could transfer to Krasnodar, Krasnodar's head coach Murad Musayev addressed the rumors at a press conference. It had been noted that the blue-white-sky blues do not plan to extend the player's contract, which expires in the summer of 2027. Musayev stated that it would be incorrect to speak about players from other teams, adding that because Mostovoy is a Zenit player, he cannot discuss which players from other clubs he would like to work with. When questioned about the probability of the transfer, Musayev said he did not know. Mostovoy, who joined Zenit in July 2019, has 20 caps and 3 goals for Russia. His current market value is €3.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
