According to Globo.com, Volta Redonda has reached an agreement to sign forward Andrey Dias. The 24-year-old forward was most recently with Sergipe in 2026. Dias developed at Nova Iguaçu's academy, where he drew the interest of larger clubs in Brazil. He later played for Vasco in 2020 and Fortaleza in 2022, and also had a brief period with Al Waab in Qatar in 2024. The player is now nearing official registration by the Steel Squadron.
