Atlante, a team returning to the Primera División, has reportedly shown interest in experienced Cruz Azul goalkeeper Andrés Gudiño. According to information from Carlos Ponce de León's Friday column, the club has already started talks with the 29-year-old Mexican goalkeeper. The report indicates Gudiño is seeking an exit from Cruz Azul, a move that would also create an opportunity for Mexico U-20 international Emmanuel Ochoa, whom Cruz Azul's administration wants to position as the second-choice keeper behind Kevin Mier. Atlante are looking to offer Gudiño a key starting role, which would provide him with the regular playing time he is seeking. Gudiño, who joined Cruz Azul in July 2020, has a contract that runs until June 30, 2027, and his current market value is €2.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
