According to Mundo Deportivo, 18-year-old Andrés Cuenca has renewed his contract with Barcelona until 2027 and has been loaned to Sporting de Gijón until the end of the season. Cuenca was not receiving many minutes with Barcelona B and is leaving to continue his development as a player.

According to Tuttomercato, Andres Cuenca will stay in Spain for another six months on loan at Sporting Gijon, following an agreement between Como and Barcelona. Sporting Gijon currently holds the seventh position in the Segunda Division.

According to Tuttomercato, Sporting Gijon is interested in loaning Andrés Cuenca and has already taken action to do so, contingent on the finalization of his transfer from Barcelona to Como.

According to Gianluigi Longari, an unnamed Ligue 1 club has made a bid for 18-year-old Barcelona center back Andrés Cuenca, who is of interest to the Serie A duo AC Milan and Como.
