Corvinul Hunedoara announced the signing of Slovakian offensive midfielder Andrej Fabry, who joins the newly-promoted Superliga side on a one-season contract. The 29-year-old previously played for Universitatea Cluj for a season and a half, where he made 37 appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing seven assists. Before his time at Cluj, the former Slovakia youth international, who has four caps for the U21 team, played for UTA Arad, for whom he scored nine goals in 56 games. Two years ago, Mircea Rednic had described Fabry as the best number 10 in the country. During the 2025/2026 season, Fabry made 21 league appearances and provided 3 assists. His current market value is €500k, according to Transfermarkt.
