AZ Picerno announced it has temporarily acquired the sporting rights for Andrea Oliviero from US Catanzaro 1929. The 20-year-old Italian attacker will join on loan until the end of the season. He is capable of playing across the front line. The move to Serie C follows a period he spent on loan at ACR Messina in Serie D during the previous season. Oliviero developed in the youth systems of Pescara and Bologna. Picerno's director general, Vincenzo Greco, stated that Oliviero is a talented young player who has interesting technical qualities and significant potential for growth. Greco also expressed his belief that Picerno is the right environment for the player's development. During the 2025/2026 season, Oliviero made 16 appearances in Serie D - I and scored one goal in six appearances in the Primavera 2 - B youth league. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is currently estimated at €125k.
