In July 2024, Anderlecht had made inquiries about the player, but Monza's requested transfer fee of around 10 million euros was too expensive. Italian media now report that Monza is negotiating with Anderlecht for a transfer. Monza will not permit Carboni to leave for a 'sale price'.
