Diego Foresti, Ternana's technical area director, has identified 27-year-old Italian Andrea Cagnano of Avellino as a target for reinforcing the team's left side. The club is seeking a player who can serve as an alternative to Bruno Martella, with the versatility to play as a left-sided center-back in a back three and also as a left wing-back. According to a report from Ternananews.it, Cagnano, who has played in only eight matches for Avellino, is one of three candidates being considered. The other players on the list are Damiano Cancellieri from Siracusa and Mattia Brugarello of Juventus Next Gen. Cagnano joined Avellino in July 2025, and his contract runs until June 2027. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €300k.
