Sporting KC have reached a verbal agreement to sign 24-year-old Brazilian winger Andre Luiz from Olympiacos. The fee is $18 million plus add-ons. The deal is not yet complete as details still need to be finalized, but Sporting KC are proceeding. Luiz joined the Greek club in January 2026 from Rio Ave for a base fee that was reported to be €6.75 million. Other clubs, such as Wolverhampton Wanderers and Porto, have also been recently linked with the player. In June 2026, Olympiakos's asking price was reportedly set between €15 million and €17 million, and a €14 million proposal from Wolves was reportedly rejected in July 2026.
