According to an official statement from Újpest, André Duarte has been removed from the first team squad and will cease training with the team.

Duarte was not included in the squad for the match against ZTE, leading to speculation about potential tensions related to the club rejecting the offer. However, Duarte trained with the team after the match, indicating no issues. Újpest's management decided to retain Duarte, and he will continue to play for them this season.
