Andre Dozzell Transfer from Portsmouth to DC United
Andre Dozzell has turned down a new contract and agreed to sign for MLS side D.C. United. Manager John Mousinho said that they are disappointed to lose Dozzell, who has been a valuable member of the side during the past two campaigns. Mousinho stated that Dozzell started every game that he was available for this season, which he said shows his opinion of him, and has continuously improved. The manager added that they would have liked to keep him, but he has been given an opportunity to go and play abroad and experience something different. Mousinho concluded that Dozzell earned that right with his performances on the pitch and will always be welcome back at Fratton Park.
