Anderson Villacorta, a 20-year-old Peruvian centre-back, has joined Sporting Cristal in what is reported to be a completed deal. The Mexican club Mineros is loaning the player for one year, an arrangement that includes a fee and a purchase option. If Sporting Cristal acquires Villacorta permanently, Mineros will retain 20% of any future sale. Villacorta has yet to be capped by Peru and made 71 appearances for Mineros across all domestic competitions in the 2025/26 season. His current Transfermarkt market value is €300k.
