Manchester United and Chelsea are said to be closely monitoring the situation of Real Sociedad winger Ander Barrenetxea ahead of a potential summer move. According to MARCA, the Spaniard is on the shortlist of both clubs. Barrenetxea has four years remaining on his contract and is unlikely to be inexpensive. He has scored three goals and provided three assists in La Liga this season.

Manchester United is interested in signing Real Sociedad's Spanish attacker Ander Barrenetxea at the end of the season. The 24-year-old, who joined the club in July 2019, is also being monitored by Chelsea.
