A previous report stated that Benfica may sell Trubin for a minimum of 40 million euros, with Shakhtar potentially receiving 16 million euros because of a 40% sell-on bonus included in the agreement when Trubin was sold to Benfica for 10 million euros.

Mykhailo Burch has advised Anatoliy Trubin to move to the Spanish league, stating that Trubin is ready for La Liga but not yet mature enough for the Premier League.
