The main competition is from Inter Milan, which has opened negotiations and made a €20 million offer. According to sources, the Belgian club is seeking a fee closer to €30 million, and talks are continuing. None of the Premier League teams have submitted a formal bid, but they are reportedly remaining attentive to developments should the negotiations between Inter and Union fail to conclude. Khalaili, who has 16 caps for Israel, joined Union Saint-Gilloise in July 2024 for a fee reported to be €6.5 million. His contract with the club is valid until 2028. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €23 million.
