The management of Wydad Athletic Club has refused to let their 28-year-old Moroccan central defender Amine Aboulfath leave during the upcoming summer transfer window, in response to an official offer made by the Saudi club Al Hazem FC. According to sources, the Saudi club proposed an amount close to 400,000 dollars for the Wydad defender. However, the Casablanca club's management considered this offer to be insufficient due to the player's status in the squad and his recent sporting progress; his current Transfermarkt market value is €800k. The club's decision was also influenced by the opinion of the technical staff led by French coach Patrice Carteron, who considers Aboulfath essential to the defensive stability and insisted on keeping him. Aboulfath is under contract with Wydad until June 2027.
