Helsingborgs IF has announced that forward Amin Al-Hamawi is being loaned in from Randers for the remainder of the season. In a statement, Amin Al-Hamawi said that his first thought was of the supporters as soon as he heard there was interest. He added that they mean a lot to him, the city, and the club. The forward previously left Helsingborgs IF after the 2023 season.

Randers FC has stated that 22-year-old Iraqi-Swedish centre-forward Amin Al Hamawi is being sent on loan to Helsingborgs IF for the rest of 2026. According to football director Søren Pedersen, Al Hamawi is going on loan in the hope of getting more playing time. Pedersen confirmed that Amin Al Hamawi has been affected by injuries during his time at Randers FC, which has limited his appearances. Pedersen also said that at Helsingborg, a club he knows very well, Al Hamawi will have the opportunity to play regularly, regain match fitness, and get more minutes. Al Hamawi has previously played for Helsingborgs IF at both youth and senior level. The Iraq international, who has been capped three times, joined Randers in August 2025 and his contract runs until 2029. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €250k.
