Álvaro Zamora is poised to join Viseu FC, a team in Portugal's second division, on a loan deal from Aris. The arrangement includes an option for Viseu FC to purchase Zamora from Aris. Zamora was not in Aris's plans for the new season and was permitted by the club's management to seek a new team. Although there was interest from clubs in Mexico and Portugal, a Portuguese club ultimately secured his transfer. According to Costa Rican journalist Kevin Jiménez, who shared the news on X, the 23-year-old Costa Rican winger has joined Viseu FC. Zamora is currently in Portugal for medical examinations and is expected to be officially announced shortly. His contract with Aris extends until the summer of 2028.

If Loren Morón is sold, Álvaro Zamora might be used as the second forward for Aris.
