Santos was one of several clubs, including São Paulo, Vasco, and Corinthians, that were interested in signing Allan. However, financial factors complicated the negotiations. Flamengo required a financial counterpart for the midfielder, partly because the club had invested €8.2 million in him in July 2023 and because of the need to find a replacement. This situation ultimately led to discussions stalling. The former Brazil U23 international's contract with Flamengo is valid until December 2027, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €3.00m. A potential loan to Corinthians in February 2026, which included a purchase option of approximately €2 million, reportedly did not proceed before the deal was finalized.
