Slovenian winger Aljosa Matko, 26, stated that he would like to transfer to a stronger league and said he works every day at his club for this to happen while waiting for another transfer opportunity. The Újpest FC player, who joined the club in July 2025, has a release clause of two million euros in his contract, and there are clubs outside the European top leagues that could easily pay this amount. In 8 league appearances this season, Matko has scored 5 goals and provided 4 assists. The winger has 9 caps for Slovenia, a current Transfermarkt market value of €2.00m, and has been linked with Celje.
