Ukrainian journalist Igor Tsyganik reported that Shakhtar received an official offer this summer from German club RB Leipzig for 19-year-old right winger Alisson. The proposed fee was €30 million, but Shakhtar refused the offer and set their asking price at €50 million for the Brazilian. Shakhtar had signed Alisson in March from Atletico Mineiro for €14 million, with his former club retaining 15% of the player's economic rights. His contract with the Ukrainian club runs until the end of 2029, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €9 million.
