Torino have rejected approaches for 20-year-old Swedish-Gambian winger Alieu Njie from numerous clubs, including half of Serie B and a couple of teams from the Eredivisie. Serie B clubs such as Reggiana, Frosinone, Monza, Juve Stabia, Spezia, and Sudtirol had their attempts to sign the player on loan turned down. Torino does not want to let Njie leave, as they consider him a key part of their plans for the present and future, particularly since manager Marco Baroni has been increasingly involving him in team rotations. Njie, who has four caps for the Sweden U21 team, joined Torino in July 2024 and is under contract until June 2029. In the current Serie A season, he has made 5 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist. His current Transfermarkt market value is €2.50m.
