Nicolo Schira reports that Empoli are interested in signing Torino’s right-back Alì Dembelè, who was born in 2004. Torino wants to loan the player until 2027, a condition Empoli has accepted.

Ali Dembele, Torino's 22-year-old French-Malian right-back, is expected to return to Serie B after a successful six-month loan at Mantova. Mantova had been pursuing the player for some time and, a few days ago, appeared close to securing his return. However, Empoli, led by Fabio Artico, has now advanced in the negotiations. Empoli has surpassed Mantova and is preparing to finalize a deal quickly, which is expected to be a straight loan. Dembele joined Torino in July 2023 and is under contract until June 2028; his current market value is €1.30m, according to Transfermarkt.
