Chesterfield have signed 22-year-old defender Alfie Pond from Wolves on a two-year deal. Pond, who started his career at Exeter City before moving to the Championship club in September 2022, spent the second half of the previous season on loan at Crewe Alexandra, scoring two goals in 19 League Two appearances.
